"Voila enfin une bonne chose de faite!"
Thus begins Pierre Falardeau's height of class in his texte "L'enterrement du Bonhomme Carnaval" celebrating the death of Claude Ryan in the February 2004 issue of the séparatriste filth Le Québécois. Follow the link and replace the words Claude Ryan with Pierre Falardeau, use a bit of imagination and you get a fitting send off to the clown. He says it best: "Salut pourriture!"
Turns out he was a hypocrite too. If you read the fourth comment from the bottom:
"I'll remember him as the french speaking guy that lived up the hill from my english speaking grandmother, and remember the two of them trying to speak to each other in the opposite language, for all his Quebec nationalism, he tried to communicate to her in her language."The writer is too generous here (Anglo mothers teach their kids to be polite... fesses serrées I know). He was just another greedy pure laine getting free English lessons while bitching about how much he hates the English. Don't let dem learn French, we're trying to get rid of dem. Gave him something to make crappy films about with the federaste dime. Vendu!
